this is probably a delicate situation, but i don't feel like "dealing" with it delicately, so i'ma just say it,
"korean-americanadians (yea, i'm lumping them in together, for this post) totally fucking suck, lol"
the reason why they suck (as a group, this is not an individual attack on any specific korean-americanadian) is mostly that they're weepy and oddly entitled.
right now, currently, in real time, there are korean/americanadians who are spewing shit about representation in, of all places, entertainment.
BAHAHAHAHAHA!
there's like a thing that every white person knows about asians, maybe not korean/americanadians, specifically, but about asians, as representatives:
we're over-represented in intellectual fields
and this over-representation doesn't even include asians of the Brown variety
my point is that korean/americanadians see themselves as underrepresented in the categories of, like, "celebrity FAME," which is just like so gross *iroll*
the weepy stories are the other thing that fucking irks the shit outta me, like, it's so sad that someone made fun of the food of your immigrant family.

seriously? like you're from a family that was either rich enough, smart enough, or lucky enough to bring you and/or birth you to/on Empire (and yes, i am including canada in this, cause, let's be real, getting into canada makes traversing into the U.S. a stone's throw).

the reason why you're even being "accepted by the whites" at this point and place in TIME is because of the hundreds of thousands of korean-adoptees who were shipped all over the white, white world.
the korean/americanadians bicker and bitch about how they "didn't fit it" at school and such, but at least YOU FUCKING FIT IN IN YOUR OWN HOME!

the korean/americanadians are euphoric, these days, cause they're viewing their "FAME" as some barometer about acceptance and fitting in, as if they've done some hard work at being the "face of asian-ness" for white americans.

WE ARE THE ONES WHO WERE THE ONLY ASIAN FACES IN THE WHITE COMMUNITIES ALL OVER THE WHITE WORLD
yea sure, some of you korean/americanadians were living in all-white communities, but you were segregated from the white people. you weren't the only asian person at a white happening. maybe you were, but you were there with your family.
korean-adoptees? yea, we were the ones who were dragged to all of these all-white events as the only not-white person. cause, even if we're with our families, we're still the only not-white people!
so go fuck yourself with your weak-ass suffering, your weak-ass suffering as a "representative" of asian-americanaidan-ness. go cry into the arms of the family that looks just like you, where you fit in as an asian-face against all of these white-faces.
we, korean-adoptees, are the reason why the white people of the world are so accepting of asian-faces, in general.
like, duh.
we, korean-adoptees, were brought into these white communities by fellow-whites.
we, korean-adoptees, were forced upon these white communities by fellow-whites.
we, korean-adoptees, were living inside of these white communities that are racist.
we, korean-adoptees, were sometimes abused inside of racist-white homes inside of racist-white communities.
we, korean-adoptees, sometimes suffered the most racist abuse inside our own racist-white homes.
we, korean-adoptees, had nowhere to fit in.
so, to, like, hear the weak-ass ways in which the korean/americanadians "suffered" and "suffer" from a lack of representation within the white entertainment industry, makes me quake with rage.
and like, don't even get me started on the "adoption" movie that was made by a bunch of asian/americanadians who were NOT ADOPTED. like, what the fuck? are you fucking serious. that fucking movie was so fucking bad i never even mentioned it after i watched it. like, seriously? what. the. fuck. you have no business making movies about a topic about which you know absolutely nothing.
just like, just go fuck yourselves.
and like, YOU'RE WELCOME for laying down all of the ground work in all of these all-white communities, FOR DECADES, while you live your cushy little korean/americanadian life with your korean family.
and like, THANK YOU, for reaping all of the rewards, while complaining and taking all the credit for your current "celebrity-FAME" success, lol.
