i was laying about
sometime last week
navel-gazing
when i saw an image of this skirt pop into my mind
i immediately jumped off the couch
&grabbed my old red skirt outta my closet
&hung it up

"before" shoot
took it apart

did the whole thing
worked for about 5 hours
the left bottom hem was wonky
but i was too fucking tired to fix it

fixed the wonky hem
finished the edges best i could w/out a serger
the thing took a lot longer than i had anticipated
mostly because i am out of sewing shape
(and physical shape, lol)
&i don't know what i'm doing
so i'm both learning and doing at the same time
which is how i like it
